In downtown Chicago, Chazz entered corporate America, selling Cutco and eventually becoming a District Manager, leading teams, managing people, and learning what it meant to produce results in a world where performance is measured daily. He learned how to sell, how to lead, how to communicate, how to build systems—and how unforgiving comfort can be to a dream.
But baseball never left him.
After two years away, Chazz picked the game back up in a men’s league, quietly testing whether the fire was still there. It was. On December 1st, 2021, he made a decision that changed everything: he moved to Florida, restarted from zero, and committed fully to chasing an independent league contract—no guarantees, no safety net, just belief and work.
That leap required more than talent. It required humility, resilience, and the willingness to be seen trying again.
